We offer a range of pre-bookable , same day  and telephone consultations.

 

APPOINTMENTS CAN BE BOOKED WITH THE GP OF YOUR CHOICE IF AVAILABLE AT THE TIME OF BOOKING.

We do our best to provide a convenient, efficient and high quality service for you in return we ask:

 

1.If you are unable to keep your appointment please let us know as soon as possible so that it can be            offered to another patient. Practice policy is that if there are more than 3 missed appointments, you will be removed from our list unless you inform us by canceling the appointment

 

2.Please try to arrive on time for your appointment. If you are late we cannot guarantee to see you (Doctors discretion)

 

3.Please treat the doctors and staff with the respect and courtesy you would expect to receive yourselves.  We are here to help you but may need information from you to enable us to offer you the most appropriate care.

 

4.All appointments arranged cover one consultation.  Please make a separate appointment for each person who wishes to see the doctor.

 

5.If it is necessary to request a HOME VISIT, please do so as early as possible and only when the patient is too ill to attend surgery; remember if you can bring the patient to the surgery they will be seen more quickly and any necessary treatment can be given there and then. Early requests enable the doctors to priorities their visits and provide a better service.

 

6.The doctor is here to give you treatment and advice. It is important that you understand the information given to you so if you are unsure about your treatment please ask for more information.

 

7.All patients have the right to express a preference of Practioner.

 

8.Although the doctor will endeavor to see you within a reasonable time when you attend the surgery, please be patient if an emergency arises and you are delayed.

 

Telephone Advice

 

Your doctor or practice Nurse is available for telephone consultations at the end of surgeries. These can be pre booked one week in advance or booked on the same day if required. Patients with queries regarding results or medication can leave a message with reception; these can then be dealt with at the end of surgery.

 

You can also book appointments and order repeat prescriptions on your mobile and desktop. Please log on to www.patient.co.uk and select patient access and follow the instructions. Once you have registered for this service you will need to come to the surgery with some Identification and sign a consent form.

 

The receptionists have been asked not to interrupt the doctor or nurse when they are with patients except in the case of an emergency.
