Have a say in the services we provide!
We are looking for individuals to join a new group that will help us plan any changes and improvements to our services.
You’ll help us ask the right questions in a survey of our patients which we run every 6 months. Once we have the answers, we will develop a plan to improve anything highlighted as needing action. As a member of the group you will then agree the plan.
Membership will not take up a lot of your time.
Interested?
Please ask at reception for a form so we can contact you.

There are two parking spaces provided for disabled drivers which are clearly marked. Wheelchair access is directly in front of the entrance to the health centre. We would kindly ask patients to refrain from parking in the disabled bay if you are not disabled as this obstructs wheelchair access to the building.
Colds
There is no magic cure for the common cold. Go to bed and take plenty of fluids. If you have a headache or are feverish consult your local pharmacist. Antibiotics are not required for a cold as it is caused by a virus.
Coughs
Dry coughs usually cure themselves and can be eased by medicine from the chemist. Children with colds often cough at night and this may be eased by propping them up with a pillow. Decongestants may help.
Burns
Apply large quantities of cool water to the affected area as soon as possible and maintain this until the pain subsides. This may take as long as 20 minutes. If the skin is unbroken but blistered apply a loose dry dressing. Do not burst blisters. If the burn is large or if the skin is broken, consult your doctor.
Chickenpox
On the first day a rash appears as small red patches. Within a few hours of these developing small blisters appear in the centre of these patches. During the next three to four days further patches occur and the earlier ones turn crusty and fall off. Calamine lotion may be applied to soothe the often severe itching. Cool baths may also help. The most infectious period is from two to three days before the rash appears.Click here form more
